Production of UPVC doors and windows (UPVC) started in 1960 in Dortmund, Germany. Due to the many advantages of this type of windows and the increase in the production cost of wooden, iron and aluminum doors and windows, the use of UPVC doors and windows as the fourth generation of windows has become more and more popular. Nowadays, the optimization of energy consumption is one of the topics that has received more attention than before. Insulation, physical endurance and stability against atmospheric conditions, as well as the ability to recycle UPVC and create variety in the design and color of this type of window, have rapidly expanded the use of this type of window in industrialized and developing countries. Today, in European countries, more than 70% of the market share of doors and windows belongs to UPVC.
